Diskmags - What is this section all about?
As you certainly have noticed, Hugi pays quite a lot attention to the topic diskmags. The reason for this is that one of our more immediate aims was to make the demo diskmag scene kicking again. Apparently the previous Hugi issues have contributed a lot to this. I personally am quite satisfied with the situation of the international PC diskmag scene today and the acceptance of diskmags in the demoscene.
This section mostly contains reviews of the most interesting recent international diskmags. You might find it strange that a diskmag reviews other diskmags. Don't take it the wrong way - we don't want to rebuke the other mags and present Hugi in a better light than it is. On the contrary, we are actually making propaganda for the other mags. The purpose of this section is to give you an overview of the current situation and the latest happenings in the international diskmag scene.
Besides, we have a retrospective view of the diskmag scene's activities in 1998, finally the for-a-long-time-promised introduction to the Atari diskmag scene and, for your entertainment, a Fake Review of an imaginary diskmag called "The Magazine #1". I won't tell you more here. Just check it out!
