Yahoo... another charts corner. Probably nobody (or hardly anybody) really wants to read these lines, so let's make it short: We have special charts this time because we did not simply ask you for your favourites. No, we asked you for your favourites released or active in 1999. Although filling in the votesheet was hence not so easy this time, still 49 people afforded the time to do so. Respect to all of them!

The technical stuff is identical to last issue's charts: For each first point, a charts entry got 10 points, for each second, 9 points, etc., down to 6 points for each fifth point. However, this time we do not only list the 15 but the 20 highest ranked charts entries, if possible. The minimum score required to get listened is again 12 points.

It turned out that some of the entries which managed to reach a high enough place to get listed were actually not released in 1999, but before. This concerns two demos from The Party 1998 and a diskmag, whose editors bragged a lot in IRC last year but didn't release a new issue. As I principally don't manipulate charts, I left them in nevertheless, but marked them with an italic font.

Okee.. Enjoy the new charts design and have fun wondering why the people voted for these of all things & people! And, if you have time and dedication, fill in vote!h20.txt - only if you want, of course.
