La Crème de la Scène

Commented by Adok/Hugi

"La Crème de la Scène? What's that?" you might have thought. Unless you understand French. Yes, "la Crème de la Scène" is French and means "the Cream of the Scene". In other words: Scene Charts.

Some statistics. 135 people submitted their votes before the deadline, which was the end of November. 33% of these votes were submitted via the online voting form, the remaining ones via the votesheet. This is quite a satisfactory number.

To make the charts fairer, I have changed the evaluation method. In the past charts you got 5 points for a first place, 4 points for a second place, and so on; the fifth place got 1 point. This had the disadvantage that one first place was worth as much as five fifth places. Now the first place has got 10 points, the second 9 points, etc. The fifth place has got 6 points. This means that two fifth places are worth slightly more than one first place. This is more just because the emphasis is now put on how many people vote for a particular person or production.

These charts are top-15s, i.e. the 15 "votees" which got the most points are listed. However, there is a restriction: Votees must have got at least 12 points - i.e., they must have been voted for by at least two voters - to be listed here.

One last note for sticklers: The terms "most popular", "best known" and "funniest" here have to be understood as "the most popular according to the voters", "the best known according to the voters" and "the funniest according to the voters". Thank you.
